Responsibilities include:

  • A Director role within the Living team, acting as internal advisors throughout the life cycle of each Living project, adding value through product definition, strengthening alignment between investment, development and operations to enhance alpha creation.
  • Coordinating the platform strategically by identifying market dynamics and trends to capture beta.
  • Underwriting and executing investments within the Living Sector (Student Housing, Build to Rent, Serviced Apartments, Mixed Use/large scale master plan) across the whole range of the risk spectrum (Land Development, Opportunistic, Value Add and Core) in several European cities.
  • Leading the team dedicated to Hines’ pan-European Living, including build-to-rent, student housing, senior living and hospitality assets.
  • Conducting local market data compilations and supporting due diligence for Living Sector specific real estate acquisitions and developments.
  • Building investment presentations and reports for internal and external communication.
  • Overseeing the execution of the asset-level business plans, ensuring they are implemented according to underwriting and respective requirements.
  • Being in-person in Hines’ London offices with some potential travel.

Minimum Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree required from an accredited university.
  • 7 or more years of work experience preferred in a similar role.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Real estate experience is required, with an understanding of investment and development in the Living sector.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong modelling skills are not a requirement but preferred.
