We partner with global life science and technology organisations to deliver high-value content, audience engagement, and marketing solutions through innovative digital channels.
As part of an ambitious growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead marketing performance across our portfolio. This is a highly visible role that combines strategic planning, commercial thinking, data-driven decision making, and team leadership. This hybrid position is based in London, with two days per week in our Waterloo office and the remainder working remotely.
The Role
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive audience growth, customer engagement, lead generation, and commercial performance across the business. The role requires a blend of strategic oversight and hands-on leadership, working closely with senior stakeholders, clients, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies that support audience growth, customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue objectives.
- Own marketing performance across multiple products and channels, using data and analytics to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.
- Lead annual and quarterly marketing planning, establishing clear objectives, KPIs, and performance frameworks.
- Drive continuous improvement through campaign analysis, audience segmentation, testing programmes, and conversion optimisation initiatives.
- Support business growth through the successful launch and positioning of new products, services, and commercial initiatives.
- Provide strategic input into the company's digital transformation and customer engagement strategy, leveraging insights from audience behaviour and market trends.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and quality assurance of all marketing activity, including email marketing, social media, content promotion, webinars, and lead generation campaigns.
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards that provide actionable insights to senior leadership and clients.
- Manage relationships with key clients and stakeholders, providing strategic marketing guidance and performance reporting where required.
- Collaborate with commercial, editorial, and operational teams to ensure marketing activity aligns with wider business objectives.
- Identify and evaluate new marketing technologies, automation opportunities, and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support, mentor, and develop junior marketing team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in a B2B marketing role, with responsibility for marketing strategy, campaign performance, and growth initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make commercially focused recommendations.
- Experience managing complex, multi-channel marketing programmes.
- Strong understanding of email marketing, audience development, marketing automation, CRM systems, and digital analytics.
- Experience working with marketing databases, audience segmentation, and data-driven campaign planning.
- Excellent project management, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience within life sciences, healthcare, scientific publishing, technology, or other knowledge-led B2B sectors would be advantageous.
