Senior Account Manager

TEAM – Creative Marketing

LOCATION – UK London (hybrid)

We are looking for seasoned Senior Account Managers (SAMs) with a passion for nurturing our people and client relationships to promote and support our growth. As a SAM, you will be a trusted advisor, with sound consultancy skills and the ability to provide good strategic counsel. You will make operational decisions and, with the support of our senior team, be accountable for delivering healthcare communications programs that exceed client expectations.

Creative Marketing is all about doing the right thing. We believe that’s about honest consultation with clients, so we act in their interests but not always according to their brief. Insightful consideration to unlock more value. And pushing creativity upstream to give it more clout. All this gives us confidence in what we deliver and builds confidence in us.

Creative Marketing is a growing practice, so we have the rare opportunity to build and shape the practice just the way we want to. We’re looking for likeminded individuals who are up for the challenge and are genuinely interested in the experience of building our practice. Joining the Creative Marketing team will give team members at all levels opportunities they may not experience in a mainstream healthcare marketing agency – including opportunities to work with practices outside of creative marketing, working on Global/European accounts, and internal responsibilities that help shape the direction of our practice. If that sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.

  • Is aware of the need for the practice to be profitable and proactively manages budgets and scope creep effectively
  • Critically analyses the client ask and routinely seeks to add value and a diverse perspective
  • Actively listens to the client to help build a positive experience of working with the team – proactively addresses their needs/queries and resolves issues in a timely manner with the support of their senior team
  • Provides appropriate recommendations and solutions to potential challenges, regularly forward-plans including for contingencies
  • Builds a sound understanding of the brand strategy and effectively translates it into tactical delivery
  • Effectively mentors and trains those more junior to them, ensuring quality standards are upheld at all times

Team members are actively encouraged to be involved in activities outside of their day-to-day work, whether that is participating in social, Diversity & Inclusion, or CSR initiatives, attending networking events, or running training sessions on topics of personal interest. There is a strong focus on training and development, and as a rough guide, employees are encouraged to complete 37.5 hours of learning per year through online learning, classroom training, or attending external events—that’s one week per year dedicated to personal development.
