Principal Medical Writer LOCATION – UK (Hybrid: 3 days in London office, 2 days remote) Overview: An exciting opportunity for a Principal Medical Writer to join a leading healthcare communications team. You’ll lead scientific content development across key accounts, ensuring accuracy, strategic alignment, and excellence in delivery. The role also includes mentoring junior writers, managing client relationships, and driving editorial quality and innovation. This hybrid role is based in London, with flexibility for remote working two days a week. Key Responsibilities Content Leadership : Oversee the development of high-quality scientific content, ensuring alignment with client strategy and compliance standards. Strategic Input : Provide scientific leadership and partner with client services to shape account direction. Client Management : Serve as the lead editorial contact, manage relationships with clients and medical experts, and represent the team at meetings and events. Team Oversight : Mentor junior writers, delegate responsibilities, and provide feedback to support their growth. Project Delivery : Manage multiple projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met. Industry Engagement : Stay current with relevant industry trends and share insights with the team and clients.
