Role description

My client is seeking a full-time Associate Editor in Medical Communications to join its team. The role is hybrid, with the flexibility for some work from home days.

You will be responsible for managing the editorial process, ensuring the quality and accuracy of medical content, and working closely with our client services and medical writing team. Day-to-day tasks include editing, proofreading, and preparing content ready for approval, whilst maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Life Science degree, ideally along with a higher degree
  • 1+ years healthcare communications experience, ideally with experience using Veeva
  • Working knowledge of the ABPI code
  • Good proofreading and copy-editing skills (grammar/punctuation)
  • Proficient in PowerPoint (formatting/graphs/animations etc)
  • Good referencing and analytical skills (performing reference searches, fact checks and working with data)
  • Good communication skills, both written and client/HCP liaison
