They offer a comprehensive range of equipment and services, recognized as a leading one-stop solution for laboratory needs in Ireland.
This is a full-time, on the road, sales position covering Connacht & Leinster. The ideal person shall have a degree in Chemistry/Biology with work experience gained in a lab and a full drivers licence. The person will be ideally based in the Northern Ireland/ Cavan/ Monaghan/ Louth area.
Role/Responsibilities:- Promote and increase revenue of General Laboratory/Biotechnology portfolio within the Connacht & Leinster regions.
- Provide demonstrations, pricing and promotions of product portfolio, and will have an in-depth product knowledge of the instrumentation; HPLC, Bio-safety cabinets, air flow cabinets, microscopy, Hypoxy cabinets etc.
- Provide customers with technical & software support.
- Develop and maintain new and existing customer relationships.
- Work closely with the Sales Director and the overall sales team.
- The Sales Product Specialist will be required to travel extensively across Connacht & Leinster.
- Degree in Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biochemistry, or equivalent.
- Sales experience preferable.
- In depth knowledge of Biotechnology & General Laboratory instrumentation with minimum of 2 years laboratory experience.
- Be a flexible team player who can work independently and prioritise workload.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A good knowledge of related industry products.
- Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Highly motivated individual with a drive to succeed.
- Full clean Irish driving licence is essential.
