The Role

As a Delegate Sales Executive, you will play a key role in engaging and growing our professional community. You’ll be responsible for developing strong relationships with senior professionals in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, helping them get the most from our events and digital platforms.

This role combines consultative sales, relationship building, and community engagement. You’ll manage your own pipeline, identify opportunities, and ensure every conversation adds value to both the delegate and the wider network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build Relationships: Develop and nurture connections with key accounts and industry professionals to help them benefit fully from our events and community initiatives.
  • Delegate Outreach: Conduct high-quality email, linkedin and phone outreach to targeted delegate groups, introducing them to upcoming events and opportunities to participate.
  • Account Management: Work closely with existing delegates and community members to understand their goals and ensure long-term engagement.
  • CRM Management: Maintain an accurate and organised pipeline using our CRM (HubSpot), ensuring all activities, communications, and next steps are tracked.
  • Market Insight: Research and map key industry stakeholders, identifying new opportunities for engagement and growth.
  • Collaboration: Work with marketing and operations teams to align delegate campaigns with event objectives and audience strategies.
  • Target Achievement: Meet and exceed delegate attendance and engagement targets across multiple events throughout the year.
About You
  • You have excellent communication skills and enjoy building meaningful professional relationships.
  • You are motivated, curious, and confident speaking with senior-level professionals.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and take ownership of your goals.
  • You are proactive and organised, with experience managing CRM pipelines (HubSpot experience preferred)
  • You are comfortable working remotely and managing your own schedule.
Requirements
  • 1–3 years’ experience in B2B delegate, sponsorship, or inside sales — ideally within events, media, or life sciences.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Based in the UK, with full right to work.
  • Self-starter attitude and a collaborative mindset.
