About the Role
We are recruiting Special Needs Assistants to work across a range of Batley primary schools, including settings developing their own specialist provision within mainstream environments. These schools need consistent, dependable and nurturing team members who can support pupils with a wide range of Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND), including:
- Autism
- Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs
- Speech, Language & Communication needs
- Complex learning difficulties
- Physical or sensory needs
You’ll be working alongside teachers, SENCOs and specialist staff to create safe, structured and engaging learning experiences that help pupils feel understood, valued and supported.

- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning, Childcare, or Childcare & Education
- Experience working with children with SEND
