Material Handler – Weekend Shift
Shift: Weekend Shift (Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM–5:30 PM)

What You'll Do
As a Material Handler, you'll play a critical role in keeping production running smoothly by ensuring materials, parts, and supplies are delivered safely, accurately, and on time. Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate with Supervisors and Team Leads to ensure production areas are supplied and ready to minimize downtime.
- Organize, store, transport, and stage materials, parts, and supplies throughout the facility.
- Accurately complete routers, tags, and other inventory documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory and report shortages, overages, or material concerns.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the facility.
- Complete inventory and material transactions accurately within Oracle.
- Deliver parts and supplies to production teams to maximize efficiency.
- Remove and distribute empty pallets, baskets, and containers as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Support other warehouse and production activities as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Successful candidates will have:
- Forklift experience preferred; ability to become forklift certified is required.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize work with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to accurately complete inventory transactions.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Dependability, teamwork, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to safely perform the essential functions of the job, including:
- Successfully complete a visual acuity examination as required for the position.
- Lift up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Push and pull materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Frequently bend, twist, reach overhead, and handle materials throughout the workday.
- Operate a forklift for extended periods.

At Life Fitness / Hammer Strength, we believe in taking care of our team with a comprehensive total rewards package that includes competitive pay and a range of valuable benefits. Your base wage will be between $20.70 - $24.60 per hour and includes eligibility for overtime. The actual wage offer will be based on qualifications, experience, location, and other relevant factors. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in the Production Bonus Plan, which provides opportunities to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics. Bonus eligibility is subject to meeting certain production goals and other criteria as outlined.
