LOCATION: Field based – North West
HOURS: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours, 8.30am - 5.00pm

ROLE OVERVIEW: The role will involve visiting a range of clients' sites, to produce all the required risk assessment documentation. Working as a Risk Assessor you'll ensure our clients receive the best service and support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducting risk assessment visits, recording all relevant data and required information to enable a detailed and accurate risk assessment to be produced.
- Assessing current systems regarding Legionella compliance against legislation changes and client requirements.
- Reviewing client data held within our systems regarding Legionella compliance.
- Producing the resulting risk assessment document accurately in line with ACOP L8 guidelines and the required timescales.
- Compiling reports, documents and schematic drawings.
- Minimising disruption and inconvenience to the residents/building users visited by completing tasks in the most efficient manner and communicating effectively with the site representative.
- Communicating progress to office-based colleagues.
- Providing technical support to colleagues where required.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- City and Guilds or Water Management Society qualification in Risk Assessment for Legionella and Water Hygiene Control in Water Systems.
- A minimum of two years' experience as a Risk Assessor is desirable but not essential.
- Experience of working in the field completing water hygiene tasks would be preferable.
- Strong IT skills and experience of using Word, Excel and other Outlook tools.
- Able to complete LRAs using a web based platform on a tablet computer.
- Prepared to be hands on and a team player when required.
- A polite individual able to communicate clearly with clients and the office-based team.
- Smart appearance with a friendly manner.
- The ability to work without direct supervision.
- Full UK driving license.
