About the Role
The Learning Support Assistant (LSA) will support pupils in their subject area and provide overall classroom assistance, including a Midday Assistant role and After School Club Leader duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specific support to pupils according to their learning needs and styles.
- Assist with classroom activities, manage classroom behaviour, and support multi-tasking across subjects.
- Take care of children during lunch break and after school, acting as a Midday Assistant.
- Lead the After School Club, ensuring safety and engaging activities.
- Communicate clearly and sensitively with pupils, parents, and staff.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to enhance learning outcomes.
