We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our Supported Housing team in Bracknell. This role is ideal for someone passionate about empowering vulnerable individuals to build independence and improve their wellbeing.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing emotional, practical and housing-related support to clients
- Managing referrals, conducting needs and risk assessments
- Creating and reviewing individual support plans
- Supporting clients to maintain tenancies and manage rent payments
- Working collaboratively with external agencies and professionals
- Helping clients access benefits, healthcare and other services
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to service improvements
- Delivering group sessions and 1:1 support
- Taking part in an out-of-hours on-call rota
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced in working with vulnerable individuals (housing or support setting preferred)
- Knowledgeable about support planning, safeguarding, and welfare benefits
- A strong communicator with a non-judgemental and empathetic approach
- Organised and IT literate, with good administrative skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality support
Salary: £14,154.40 per annum
Hours: 20 hours per week
Please note, there is a requirement to drive for this role.
