We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our Supported Housing team in Aylesbury. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals by providing high‑quality emotional, practical, and housing‑related support.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver person‑centred support tailored to individual client needs
- Manage referrals, assessments, and risk assessments
- Develop and review support plans with clients
- Provide day‑to‑day support within accommodation and the community
- Support clients to maintain tenancies and manage rent payments
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies
- Help clients access benefits, healthcare, and other services
- Maintain accurate records and reports using IT systems
- Ensure properties are safe, well‑maintained, and compliant with standards
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and organisational policies
- Contribute to service improvement and client engagement activities
- Participate in an on-call rota for out‑of‑hours support
About You
- Experienced in a similar support or housing role
- Knowledgeable about safeguarding, risk assessment, and support planning
- Understanding of housing and welfare benefits systems
- Confident working with vulnerable individuals in a non‑judgemental way
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Organised, self‑motivated, and able to manage a varied workload
- A team player who shares our values and commitment to client care
- IT literate (Microsoft Office and case management systems)
- Full driving licence is required
Role Details
- Salary: £9,908.08 per annum
- Hours: 14 hours across 3 days per week
- Location: Aylesbury
