Help Us Build the Chiropractic Version of Ritz-Carlton University. Life Balance Chiropractic is looking for a proven Learning & Development professional, Instructional Designer, Learning Experience Designer, Curriculum Designer, Franchise Training Leader or Academy Builder. This is not a basic Skool builder role. We do not need someone to simply upload videos, organise folders or make pretty slides. We need someone who can help us turn SOPs, coaching, founder knowledge and real clinic experience into a world-class training Academy.

Who We Are

Life Balance Chiropractic exists to: End suffering. Restore balance. Reignite the spirit. One person. One family. One community at a time. Our vision is to build Life Balance clinics across the UK and beyond. To do that, we need a training system that helps great humans become great chiropractors — and great chiropractors become future leaders.

Why This Role Exists

We already have SOPs, Process Street playbooks and standards. But SOPs are not enough. A checklist tells someone what to do. It does not always teach:

  • Why it matters
  • What great looks like
  • What poor execution looks like
  • How to think under pressure
  • How to handle real client moments
  • How to prove competence
  • How to teach others

That is where you come in.

Your Mission

Extract the principles. Build the Academy. Create mastery. You will work with our founder, mentors and senior team to capture the best parts of our training, coaching, stories, examples, mental models and clinical standards. Then you will turn them into simple, practical learning pathways.

Our Learning Model

Every key SOP should become a mastery pathway:

  • Know It — understand the principle
  • See It — watch great, average and poor examples
  • Do It — practise in real clinic situations
  • Prove It — show evidence through video, reflection, scorecards or client outcomes
  • Teach It — coach others and contribute back to the Academy
  • Practise It — build quality reps, standards and accountability

What You’ll Help Build

Training pathways for:

  • Checking and adjusting mastery
  • New client and Report of Findings conversations
  • Progress checks
  • Client retention
  • Care plan commitment
  • Client goals and “life effects”
  • Moving clients from pain relief to prevention and performance
  • Difficult client conversations
  • Reactivations
  • Referrals
  • Client delight
  • Senior chiropractor development
  • Partner-manager readiness

First 30 Days: Prove You Can Build The Magic

Before we scale the Academy, we want to see one complete pathway built from start to finish. You will take one real SOP or training area and turn it into a full mastery pathway using:

  • Know It → See It → Do It → Prove It → Teach It → Practise It

By the end of 30 days, we should have one complete pathway that proves the model works. This may include:

  • Module outline
  • Intro video brief
  • Mental model
  • Scenario lesson
  • Quiz
  • Reflection task
  • Video review task
  • Competency rubric
  • Scorecard
  • Workshop structure
  • Teach It coaching task

If this is excellent, we move into the full Academy build.

What Success Looks Like

First 90 Days

  • SOPs mapped into Academy pathways
  • Core Academy structure designed
  • Repeatable module template created
  • First 3-5 mastery modules built
  • Competency rubric system drafted

First 6 Months

  • Associate Chiropractor Academy live
  • Scenario-based learning active
  • Video review and self-assessment running
  • Group learning and peer review established
  • Founder-led 1:1 training reduced

First 12 Months

  • Clear pathways built for:
  • New Associate → Confident Associate → Senior Chiropractor → Coach/Mentor
  • Partner-Manager development
  • Franchise / multi-clinic development
  • Trainer and Academy Coach development

By 12 months, the Academy should be building chiropractors, leaders, trainers and future clinic operators.

Who We’re Looking For

You may have worked as a:

  • Learning Experience Designer
  • Instructional Designer
  • L&D Manager
  • Curriculum Designer
  • Academy Builder
  • Franchise Training Leader
  • Corporate University Builder
  • Professional Education Manager
  • Competency Framework Designer

You understand adult learning. You know how to turn expertise into behaviour change. You can simplify complex ideas. You can build training that helps people perform under pressure.

Ideal Background

We are especially interested in people from:

  • Franchise training
  • Healthcare training
  • Hospitality training
  • Fitness or wellness education
  • Corporate universities
  • Sales academies
  • Leadership development
  • Consulting firm academies
  • Military or emergency service training

You should understand:

  • Standardising excellence
  • Building certification pathways
  • Creating trainer pathways
  • Scaling training across teams or locations
  • Assessing real-world competence

The Kind of Person Who Will Thrive

You are:

  • Curious
  • Organised
  • Practical
  • Systems-minded
  • Clear-thinking
  • Strong at asking questions
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Fast-moving without being sloppy
  • Obsessed with helping people learn

You do not need to be a chiropractor. You do need to care deeply about helping professionals become excellent.

Our Values

  • We Care. Honesty and humility.
  • We Connect. Vulnerability and teamwork.
  • We Create. Fun, courage and resourcefulness.

We want disciplined, coachable people who care deeply, execute with pride and raise the standard for everyone around them.

Compensation

This is a fractional role to start. Time: 5-10 hours per week. Rate: $24-$60 USD per hour depending on experience. Monthly range:

  • 5 hrs/week: $520-$1,300 USD/month
  • 10 hrs/week: $1,040-$2,600 USD/month

Exceptional candidates with franchise, corporate university or Fortune 500 training experience may be considered above this range.

Job Type

Fractional/part-time / contract. This may grow into a larger Academy Builder, Learning & Development Lead or Academy Director role.

Location

Remote. Must have some overlap with UK working hours.

Application Task

Shortlisted candidates may be invited to complete a paid trial project.

The Bottom Line

There cannot be one founder sitting beside every chiropractor, every shift, watching every conversation, adjustment and decision. So we are building the next best thing. A training system that captures the principles, standards and wisdom behind excellent chiropractic care. A system that helps great humans become great chiropractors. And great chiropractors become future leaders. If that challenge excites you, we would love to hear from you.
