Bolton Road Dental Care, Farnworth, is looking for a passionate and friendly Qualified Dental Nurse to join our close-knit team on a part-time basis (28 hours). Role: Qualified Dental Nurse (with potential Decontamination Dental Nurse responsibilities)

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assist Our Experts: Support our skilled dental professionals during procedures, ensuring every patient feels comfortable and secure.

Additional Responsibilities (Decontamination Dental Nurse):
We’re also looking for a candidate trained in decontamination procedures, who can take on or support the Decontamination Dental Nurse role. You will be responsible for:
- Sterilisation and disinfection of all dental instruments and equipment according to HTM 01-05 standards
- Maintaining and testing decontamination equipment (autoclaves, ultrasonic baths, washer disinfectors)
- Accurate record-keeping of daily, weekly, and monthly decontamination audits
- Ensuring compliance with infection prevention protocols
- Supporting training and awareness of cross-infection control within the practice

- A Qualified Dental Nurse with GDC registration
- Training and understanding of HTM 01-05 and cross-infection control protocols

- Basic computer literacy
