Overview
In this role you will deliver professional HR support across the business, partnering with managers on employee relations and recruitment, and driving HR systems, data, and training initiatives. You’ll ensure compliant, efficient HR processes while supporting learning and development and fostering an engaging workplace culture. You will influence process improvements and contribute to cross-functional projects in a global, industry-leading organisation. This is a hands-on position that combines people focus with systems and data to enable better employee outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Provide HR advice to managers on employee relations and risk management
- Respond to HR queries with high service standards
- Build relationships with managers to deliver practical HR solutions
- Support management of absence and return-to-work processes
- Assist with day-to-day HR activities and deadlines
- Support recruitment activities and cover for Talent Acquisition Advisor when needed
- Act as a key user of HRIS and LMS, ensuring data accuracy and access controls
- Train HR system users and work with IT/external suppliers to resolve issues
- Support HR projects, system enhancements, and continuous improvement
- Assist with system testing, upgrades, and new functionality
- Conduct regular audits of HR data, systems and processes for accuracy and compliance
- Produce standard and ad hoc HR reports
- Identify opportunities to improve HR systems, processes, reporting and user experience
- Coordinate virtual and face-to-face training, scheduling and logistics
- Monitor training compliance and maintain training records
- Support onboarding and L&D programmes
- Evaluate training effectiveness and report learning outcomes and compliance
- Ensure GDPR and data protection compliance
- Support audits related to HR data and learning records
- Maintain audit trails and document system issues, changes, and resolutions
- Validate data across HR systems and reports for consistency
Key requirements
- Demonstrable experience with HR systems and processes
- Understanding of GDPR and data protection best practices
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong administrative, organizational, analytical, and reporting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint
