We sell officially licensed products from professional sports federations and headwear of the hottest sports and fashion brands. General Position Summary
Our retail salespeople are the heartbeat and energy of the Lids brand. These cap experts are committed to fostering a passion for sporting and fashion goods by meeting the needs of our loyal customers and occasional buyers alike. Our customers rely on our team to find and select products that represent their individuality, team pride, and personal style. Working in our retail stores requires providing each customer with an exceptional Lids experience, maintaining our product presentations, and being a subject matter expert in our products and services.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate revenue by achieving growth through excellent customer service.
- Meet or exceed individual sales goals.
- Maintain store appearance according to visual guidelines, including proper signage and cleanliness.
- Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the dress code.
Additional Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Control costs and protect company assets within retail guidelines.
- Participate in inventory management, including processing shipments and returns.
- Assist in accurate and timely counting of products.
- Follow all retail policies, procedures, and principles.
- Perform other assigned tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read and operate a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and work with hands overhead.
- Standing for up to 100% of the time is required.
