We are looking for a proactive, organised, and reliable Payroll Officer to join our vibrant team.

You’ll be responsible for delivering a professional service to the UK business, working to the highest standards and ensuring the timely and accurate administration of payroll is dealt with promptly and correctly according to company policies, procedures, and external statutory legislation.

What you’ll do

  1. Maintenance of employee data in SAP HR
  2. Resolving Payroll discrepancies
  3. Processing Holiday, Sick, Mat Pay etc.
  4. Ensure payroll calculations are correct according to company rules and statutory legislation
  5. Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail at all times
  6. Responding to all requests in a timely manner
  7. Processing and paying expenses
  8. Calculating new hires and termination pay
  9. General administration and other duties as requested by management
  10. Filing and processing paperwork

What you’ll need

  1. Sound knowledge and experience of payroll systems essential
  2. An excellent eye for detail with the ability to detect errors
  3. Significant administration experience essential
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication delivered at all levels
  5. SAP HR experience desirable
  6. Intermediate level of MS Office, Excel and Word
  7. Ability to work under pressure, make decisions and prioritise workload effectively
  8. A dedicated team player who can also perform tasks independently
  9. Be motivated and proactive carrying out daily tasks
  10. Customer focused with a ‘can-do’ approach to problem solving
  11. Awareness of CIPP and GDPR statutory guidance desirable
