Overview
From our Head Office to the shop floor and everywhere in between our primary goal is to create and deliver a fantastic customer journey for everyone who shops at Lidl.
Customer obsessed, high energy and love learning every day? If that sounds like you, earn £370+ per week as a Customer Assistant on our standard 30 hour contract. Your role will be varied working across different shift times, tasks and with different colleagues. Note: As a Customer Assistant you are required to sell alcohol, therefore you must be 18 or over to work in our store.
Shift Patterns
- Morning shift: Starting at 5am or 6am with your team, stocking award-winning products on the shop floor and preparing bakery items for opening time.
- Middle shift: Starting mid-morning or early afternoon, ensuring store cleanliness, product freshness, helping customers, and working on tills to minimise queues.
- Late shift: Afternoon start, serving customers, restocking, and preparing the store for the next day.
What you\’ll do
- Interacting with the customer in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner
- Ensuring stock loss controls are followed in all areas of the store
- Maintaining store and external cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Following freshness and rotation principles
- Ensuring all waste is managed correctly
- Assisting in the stock count process

We offer a competitive and transparent salary system, that ensures pay equality across all positions at Lidl
- £12.40 per hour rising to £14.10 per hour after 3 years
- Additional supplements paid depending on the days & hours worked
