What you\’ll do
- Interacting with the customer in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner
- Ensuring stock loss controls are followed in all areas of the store
- Maintaining store and external cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Following freshness and rotation principles
- Ensuring all waste is managed correctly
- Assisting in the stock count process
What you\’ll need
- A can-do attitude and excellent customer service skills

- A good team player
- Preferably, previous experience in a customer facing role but this is not essential provided you have the right attitude
- You must be 18 or over to work in our store where alcohol is sold
Shift Patterns
- Morning shift: Starting at 5am or 6am with your team, stocking the shop floor and bakery products for opening time so customers can Go Full Lidl!
- Middle shift: Starting mid-morning or early afternoon, keeping the store spotless and well presented, ensuring products stay fresh, assisting customers on the shop floor and on tills to minimise queues
- Late shift: Starting in the afternoon, serving customers on tills, restocking missing items and preparing the store for the next day
What you\’ll receive
- £12.40 per hour rising to £14.10 per hour after 3 years
- Additional supplements paid depending on days and hours worked
- 29 days holidays per annum (pro rata, including Bank Holidays)

Salary progression
- Year 1: Basic Rate £12.40; Unsocial Hours £15.50; Overtime/Sundays £18.60
- Year 2: Basic Rate £12.80; Unsocial Hours £16.00; Overtime/Sundays £19.20
- Year 3: Basic Rate £13.40; Unsocial Hours £16.75; Overtime/Sundays £20.10
- Year 4: Basic Rate £14.10; Unsocial Hours £17.63; Overtime/Sundays £21.15
