As a Store Maintenance Operative at Lidl, you’ll play a crucial role in the upkeep and improvement of our stores across your region. From groundwork repairs and plumbing to painting and decorating, this is the ideal role for a motivated jack-of-all-trades, who loves a bit of variety in their day-to-day.
What you’ll do:
- Carry out structural maintenance in both stores and warehouses
- Attend to general building and labouring work
- Put your decorating skills to good use, including painting and tiling
- Confidently carry out general plumbing duties
- Frequently use power tools
- Undertake PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) visits to store and work proactively to find and repair faults
What you’ll need:
- Experience in general maintenance work
- Strong numeracy skills
- Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Flexibility with regards to working hours as some evenings and weekends will be required
- Relevant qualifications are desirable (i.e. NVQ, BTEC)
