Our Packaging Management team buzzes with activity all day long. You’ll join an atmosphere where people thrive on the fast pace of the retail sector. You will be responsible for the strategic development of the brands portfolio and to derive packaging designs while you collaborate closely with suppliers, the packaging management team, buyers and external agencies. With your high standards, exceptional organisational skills, and impeccable attention to detail you will play a key role in supporting the performance of your department. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, creative flair, and excellent multi-tasking & administration skills!

What you’ll do:

  • End to end management of the packaging design lifecycle
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to collate briefs and ensure alignment on national and international packaging projects
  • Oversee processes with key stakeholders to ensure smooth handovers
  • Present status updates to senior stakeholders
  • Prepare and present design briefs and market insights for brand and individual product design
  • Act as a brand guardian for a portfolio of own-label brands, instigate and maintain packaging design guidelines and ensure that these align with the wider Brand and Customer teams vision and strategy for our own-label brands
  • Instigate the creation and updating of internal guidelines in your area of responsibility (e.g., process guidelines, CSR topics, etc.)

What you’ll need:

  • Proven Brand Strategy and design management experience on a multi-national environment preferably in the FMCG sector
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence and build consensus both within a project team and design team
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently
  • Highly organised and skilled at managing their own time and workload
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and prioritise tasks
  • Ability to take initiative and be proactive
  • Confident with a firm yet professional manner
  • Solutions driven
  • PC literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint
  • Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • German language would be advantageous but not essential
