Salary: £14.95 – £15.45 per hour | 30-40 hour contract | 30-35 days holiday (pro rata) | 10% in-store discount | Enhanced family leave

Summary: Lidl is looking for a Retail Shift Manager to help maintain high standards, motivate the team, and manage store operations in a fast-paced environment. The role offers leadership opportunities and a path for career progression with training and support.

What you\’ll do

• Motivate and support your team, learning from our Leadership and Company Principles
• Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks
• Create an environment where your colleagues can succeed alongside you
• Manage operations within your Store and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager
• Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory and stock management to ensure shifts run smoothly
• Provide customers with the best possible experience during every store visit

• Experience leading a team to achieve targets in a bustling, fast-paced environment
• Ability to effectively delegate tasks and motivate your team
• Patience and a friendly manner with the ability to stay calm in any situation
• Passion to thrive as a key part of the Store Team
• Proactive and encouraging approach to help colleagues develop themselves and store operations
