As a Lidl Warehouse Maintenance Operative, you’ll be keeping our distribution centre and stores purring over and ticking along nicely by looking after our equipment, machinery, fixtures and fittings. From supporting your team with your can‑do attitude to making sure our warehouse stays in tip‑top condition, your flexible approach to working shifts gives you a workplace full of variety and fresh challenges.

What you’ll do

  • Continually manage, repair and service our fleet and update service schedules and records
  • Sort out issues and fix breakdowns, supporting all departments within our warehouse team
  • Problem‑solve and fault‑find on a range of mechanical handling equipment
  • Collaborate and work alongside external contractors to complete complex maintenance tasks
  • Follow and encourage good working practices whilst being the health and safety guru

Can offer 20‑40 hour contract to the right candidate, depending on preference.

What you’ll need

  • Confidence working with mechanical equipment (PPT’s, LLOP’s and FLT’s)
  • Be able to operate, repair, and maintain machinery and existing fleet within the warehouse
  • Ability to work with hand tools and specialist lifting equipment
  • Motivation, positivity and initiative
  • A flair for multi‑tasking to prioritise conflicting deadlines
  • An eye for detail in a busy working environment
