As a Warehouse Operative (Recycling), you’ll help keep our warehouses running smoothly by processing recyclables quickly and efficiently. From card and plastic to food waste, it’s your energy that keeps things moving and makes a difference every single day.
What you’ll do:
- Check vehicles into the recycling area
- Process card, plastic, and food waste efficiently
- Work with contractors and colleagues to keep collections on track
- Update our Warehouse Management System (WMS) with pallet counts and report issues
- Use machinery safely to move pallets and complete tasks
- Support driver debriefs and check the outbound lanes to ensure pallets are in the right place every time
- Help warehouse operations and keep standards high with a clean‑as‑you‑go approach
What you’ll need:
- Experience in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment
- Willingness to work with all types of stock, indoors, outdoors, or in chilled areas
- Ability to work independently, taking responsibility for your tasks
- Good attention to detail, even when working quickly
- A can‑do attitude and pride in doing a great job
