We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Officer in our Operational Recruitment team to hire top talent for our stores across Great Britain. At Lidl, we offer a hybrid working model to give you the best of both worlds. Spend three days or more in our state‑of‑the‑art office, where you can enjoy an on‑site gym, restaurant, and more of the perks you deserve. And with up to two days at home, you’ll find the work/life balance you need to thrive. Please note: this role will require working one in 12 Saturdays, and a later finish of 7pm (Monday to Thursday) once every two weeks.
What you'll do:
- Own the end‑to‑end recruitment process from requisition to offer
- Post job ads across internal and external platforms, ensuring we’re visible where it matters
- Screen applications and conduct telephone interviews, always keeping candidate experience front of mind
- Use active sourcing to build strong pipelines and respond quickly to hiring needs
- Work closely with our Employer Brand team to support attraction campaigns
- Manage relationships with external partners
- Manage contract creation for candidates
What you'll need:
- Experience in recruitment, ideally in a fast‑paced environment
- Previous experience of working in retail would be advantageous
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A strong multi‑tasker with the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Confidence using ATS systems (SuccessFactors experience is a plus!)
- A passion for delivering a great candidate experience
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and keep things moving
- Self‑motivated, able to work well in a team and independently within a high‑pressured environment
