The Marketing Department is looking for an experienced Team Manager to join the team. The primary purpose of this position is to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all creative artworking and production activities within the Operational Marketing team. This role is responsible for driving the end-to-end production of best-in-class, high-impact creative assets across a diverse range of customer touchpoints, including in-store collateral, digital channels, and various other paid and owned media platforms, ensuring brand consistency and commercial excellence throughout.
What you'll do:
- Print production team oversight, ensuring high-accuracy artworking and creative execution in line with International brand guidelines for channels including the weekly leaflet, in-store posters, national press advertising, digital signage, and local store marketing.
- Digital content team management, focusing on SEO-first, best-in-class content, weekly product listings, and newsletters aligned with digital strategy.
- Digital transformation implementation for international projects and associated project management within GB; building on Project Griffen and collaborating with OMD and CRM teams to leverage performance metrics for recommendations.
- Strategy and process implementation to ensure efficient, dynamic production and digital channel roadmaps, collaborating with Lidl GB Marketing stakeholders and international partners.
- Identification and resolution of off-brand communications via established collaboration with the Creative Executive Consultant.
- Main point of contact for escalation and troubleshooting across creative production and digital channels, serving as a clear deputy to the Head of Department.
- Promotion of an efficient production mentality by reusing internal or international content, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and strategy while challenging processes to maximise efficiency.
- Compliance assurance with internal and industry guidelines and standards.
- Collaboration with Strategy, Campaigns, and Brand Engagement teams, providing consultation on content planning and resource feasibility.
- Proactive engagement with internal, external, and international stakeholders to deliver against brand, commercial, and customer needs.
- Monitoring and evaluation of creative and digital production against KPIs, reporting strategic highlights and recommendations to the business.
- Management of production agency relationships, establishing and optimizing workflows to ensure strong and efficient partnerships.
- Operational Marketing budget planning and monthly reconciliation, fostering a cost-awareness culture while managing agency fees and production costs.
- Resource and personnel planning to meet business needs within the production and digital function.
- Team development and alignment with Lidl leadership principles.
