Our HR Team is looking for a passionate, people‑centric intern to join us for their Industrial Placement year. What you’ll do
- Supporting the end‑to‑end recruitment process, from refreshing job adverts to coordinating assessment centres and ensuring a world‑class candidate experience.
- Assisting in the delivery of training initiatives across our regional network and supporting our Emerging Talent programmes, including the coordination of development sessions for our graduates and apprentices.
- Driving internal culture by supporting national engagement events and regional initiatives that make Lidl a great place to work.
- Gaining hands‑on experience in the essential ‘engine room’ of HR, including HR systems, policy guidance, and supporting the administrative milestones that keep our colleagues’ careers moving.
- Helping welcome new starters into the business, ensuring they have the tools and ‘Lidl knowledge’ to succeed from day one.
What you’ll need
- You are currently in your second year of study and looking to complete an industrial placement before heading into your final year in Autumn 2027.
- Able to commit to working for 11 months, starting from the 1st September.
- A passion for people and organisational culture.
- Used to managing multiple deadlines.
- A high level of accuracy and a proactive mindset.
- Confident in presenting ideas and building relationships with stakeholders across different departments and seniority levels.
- You must be legally entitled to work in the UK and happy to travel to our Regional Distribution Centres or stores when required.
