Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team is looking for a passionate, sustainability and community-minded intern to join us for the Summer of 2026. This isn’t just about sitting behind a desk; you’ll be the heartbeat of our sustainability, charity and community initiatives, getting stuck into everything from Regional Distribution Centre visits to shaping the future of our local grant programmes. If you care about people, sustainability, and making a real-world difference, this is your place.

What you’ll do
- Supporting community projects and grant programmes that have a large-scale customer impact.
- Coordinating with our national charity partners, NSPCC and Neighbourly, to deliver impactful projects and community-led activations.
- Driving internal engagement by supporting our national sustainability networks and regional leads.
- Delivering in-person CSR sessions and initiatives across our regional logistics network.
- Refreshing and reviewing internal content to ensure our CSR storytelling remains engaging and impactful.
- Assisting with the delivery of complex operational sustainability projects and stakeholder requirements.
- Collating data, creative assets, and imagery to support national social and environmental reporting.
What you’ll need
- Currently an undergraduate student in your penultimate or middle year of study, returning to university in Autumn 2026.
- Whether it’s volunteering for a local charity, running a marathon for a cause, or being an active member of a university society or community group, you can show us you genuinely care about people and the planet.
- You’re used to managing multiple deadlines, perhaps through a leadership position in a university society or previous project-management experience.
- You’ll be reviewing copy and gathering creative assets, so a high level of accuracy and a proactive mindset are essential.
- Confident in presenting ideas and building relationships with stakeholders across different departments.
- Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026, starting in June.
- You are legally entitled to work in the UK and happy to travel to our Regional Distribution Centres when required.
- If successful you will be available for an in-person interview on 1st of June 2026.
