What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for annual building inspections and ensuring legal and operational compliance through a regime of planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Organise remedial action to correct defects identified during internal inspections or during inspections by an outside contractor/agency.
  • Carefully plan and manage the implementation of new concepts, processes and procedures.
  • Responsible for the direct management and strategic collaboration with departmental stakeholders.
  • Keep a close eye on maintenance costs and budget planning, delivering to set KPIs and proposing cost saving initiatives, utility consumption drives and best practice ideas.
  • Ongoing performance and quality management of suppliers and analysis of expenditure.

What you’ll need:

  • C&G levels 1 & 2 or experience in a large maintenance environment.
  • Experience working with M&E installations, MHE, Fixed Racking Installations, Rapid Rise doors, refrigerated chambers, and building fabric.
  • Line management experience.
  • Strong leadership skills to make decisions, inspire and communicate at all levels.
  • Outstanding organisation and confident multi-tasking to prioritise deadlines.
  • Motivation, flexibility and plenty of initiative.
