Lidl GB offers a hybrid working model with up to two days at home and three days or more in the state‑of‑the‑art office, where you can enjoy an on‑site gym, restaurant, and other perks. Our Head Office CCTV & Police Liaison department is looking for a CCTV Analyst to join our busy team. In this role you will be responsible for providing CCTV access and footage to stakeholders whilst maintaining procedural compliance. You will be the main point of contact for CCTV access and liaising with the police and onsite CCTV engineers. You will also complete detailed analysis of transaction data, utilising CCTV to identify internal and external theft.
What you'll do:
- Investigate potential fraud or theft using transaction data and CCTV analysis.
- Use a variety of CCTV systems including body worn cameras and fixed camera systems.
- Manage day to day CCTV access requests within the specified time frame and maintain accurate logs of all activities.
- Action all footage requests for the police/insurance/trading compliance/internal investigation/subject access requests within a time sensitive manner and be proactive in informing relevant departments of incidents where required.
What you'll need:
- Previous experience with retail and CCTV processes advantageous.
- Experience with Databricks or similar software is preferred.
- Ability to compile clear investigation packs or witness statements that can be used for internal and external processes.
- A positive, can‑do attitude who seeks to identify solutions to problems.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Strong computer skills including experience with Word and Excel.
- Able to prioritise effectively and strong time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build successful stakeholder relationships.
