Overview
TALENTED NIGHTLIFE PHOTOGRAPHER WANTED – MUSWELL HILL
EXPERIENCED NIGHTLIFE PHOTOGRAPHER REQUIRED TO SERVICE REGULAR SESSIONS AT A PRESTIGIOUS MUSWELL HILL NIGHTSPOT.
Frequency of work is a minimum of 4x shoots per calendar month. Shifts are (typically) 2-3 hours; Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays between the hours of 8:00 pm & 3:00 am.
There are no sales involved & this is not a commission-based post!
Rates of pay range from £35.00 (for a 1 hr min session) to £110.00 (for a 6 hr session), higher rates on occasion (i.e. red carpet & special events).
Delivery is required by 15:00 hrs the following day.
This is a freelance (non contract) position. Creative guidance & technical support is available on request.
Responsibilities
- Service regular nightlife shoots at a Muswell Hill venue with a minimum of 4 shoots per month; typical shifts are 2-3 hours on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays (8:00 pm–3:00 am).
- Generate a high shot-count and quickly edit & upload images to the website; delivery by 15:00 the following day.
- Maintain courteous and efficient interactions with venue staff and attendees.
- Operate as a freelance photographer with access to creative guidance & technical support on request.
Applicant Criteria
- Previous nightlife / club photography experience (samples required) — Essential.
- A high-end digital SLR with a dedicated external flash — Essential.
- Interchangeable lenses: (1) a standard “portrait” / zoom lens, (2) a wide-angle lens — Essential.
- Access to a computer (for off-site editing) & a broadband connection (for upload) — Essential.
- Comprehensive knowledge of digital editing software (Photoshop or Lightroom) — Essential.
- Access to a motor vehicle — Preferable.
- Own public liability insurance (min of £3M cover) — Preferable.
- You MUST be confident, outgoing, reliable & able to execute to a consistently high standard.
- All applicants must be over 18 years of age (as you may be required to attend premises licensed to retail alcohol) & eligible to work in the UK.
