Overview
TALENTED NIGHTLIFE PHOTOGRAPHER WANTED – BURTON ON TRENT
Experienced nightlife photographer required to service regular sessions at a prestigious Burton on Trent nightspot.
Responsibilities
- Meet the requirements for regular shoots (minimum of 4 per calendar month).
- Attend shifts typically 2–3 hours; Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays between 8:00 pm and 3:00 am.
- Generate a high shot-count and deliver edited images to the website by 15:00 hours the following day.
- There are no sales involved and this is not a commission-based post. This is a freelance (non-contract) position with creative guidance and technical support available on request.

- Rates of pay range from £35.00 (for a 1 hr min session) to £110.00 (for a 6 hr session); higher rates on occasion (e.g., red carpet & special events).
- Delivery is required by 15:00 hours the following day.
Applicant Criteria
- Previous nightlife / club photography experience (samples required) – Essential.
- A high-end digital SLR with a dedicated external flash – Essential.
- Interchangeable lenses: (1) a standard “portrait” / zoom lens and (2) a wide-angle lens – Essential.
- Access to a computer (for off-site editing) and a broadband connection (for upload) – Essential.
- Comprehensive knowledge of digital editing software (Photoshop or Lightroom) – Essential.
- Access to a motor vehicle – Preferable.
- Own public liability insurance (min of £3M cover) – Preferable.
- You MUST be confident, outgoing, reliable and able to execute to a consistently high standard.
Additional
