Overview
TALENTED NIGHTLIFE PHOTOGRAPHER WANTED – BASILDON, Essex
EXPERIENCED NIGHTLIFE PHOTOGRAPHER REQUIRED TO SERVICE REGULAR SESSIONS AT A PRESTIGIOUS BASILDON – Essex NIGHTSPOT.
Responsibilities
- Frequency of work: a minimum of 4 shoots per calendar month. Shifts are typically 2–3 hours; Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays between 8:00 pm and 3:00 am.
- Deliver images by 15:00 hrs the following day. No sales involved and this is not a commission-based post.
- Provide courteous and efficient service, generate a high shot count, and quickly edit and upload images to our website.
- Operate as a freelance (non-contract) photographer; creative guidance & technical support available on request.
Applicant Criteria
- Previous nightlife / club photography experience (samples required) — Essential.
- A high-end digital SLR with a dedicated external flash — Essential.
- Interchangeable lenses: (1) a standard “portrait”/zoom lens and (2) a wide-angle lens — Essential.
- Access to a computer (for off-site editing) & a broadband connection (for upload) — Essential.
- Comprehensive knowledge of digital editing software (Photoshop or Lightroom) — Essential.
- Access to a motor vehicle — Preferable.
- Own public liability insurance (min of £3M cover) — Preferable.
- You must be confident, outgoing, reliable and able to execute to a consistently high standard.
- All applicants must be over 18 years of age (as you may be required to attend premises licensed to retail alcohol) & eligible to work in the UK.
