Lickd wants to help create a world where there are no barriers to creating the best online content, creating the world’s first and only mainstream music licensing platform that enables content creators to license mainstream music legally.

Responsibilities

  • Producing high-quality UI and visual design solutions realised through UX methodologies, including wireframes, flow diagrams, user stories, information architecture, and prototyping.
  • Adhering to a pre-determined design framework with the agility to assess and optimise it at regular intervals.
  • Help evolve the Design System in collaboration with the Engineering team.
  • Work with the Chief Product Officer to determine key user behaviour metrics to achieve headline business and product outcomes.
  • Handover the product solutions to the engineering team with feature walk-throughs and key design specifications.
  • Take ownership of end-to-end design processes across multiple product verticals (e.g., The Brand Tool and UMG Dashboard), ensuring cohesive user experiences and design consistency at a platform level.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to align vision, scoping, and delivery across concurrent streams.
  • Lead the development and refinement of user research and interview methodologies.
  • Standardise best practices for gathering qualitative insights, establish repeatable research protocols, and mentor other team members on incorporating research outcomes into product discovery and validation cycles.
  • Drive the creation of high-impact design assets that extend beyond core product UI/UX—such as promotional video content and onboarding journeys—that support Product Marketing, Growth, and Commercial teams.
  • Ensure these assets uphold brand quality and contribute to user acquisition and engagement strategies.

  • Passionate about content creation, particularly on YouTube, but on other social media channels as well.

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of Product Design experience or similar.
  • A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of Figma, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Solid understanding of accessibility and web standards.
  • Professional written and interpersonal skills when communicating with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage several milestones and projects efficiently.

Desired Experience

  • A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years UI/UX design experience for digital products or services.
  • Previous experience in the creator economy.
