As Facilities Manager, you will have overall responsibility for both the fabric and operational systems of the building. You will develop and deliver a Planned Preventative Maintenance Strategy as well as contributing to planning for larger capital development projects. With a fundamental understanding of Health and Safety requirements, you will work alongside other members of the management team to deliver a safe, compliant and sustainable environment for both our customers and staff. You will be willing and able to work at both a strategic and practical level, including steering the overall facilities strategy, selecting and coordinating contractors and undertaking day‑to‑day maintenance tasks and small projects directly. You will have substantial previous experience of managing both the maintenance and compliance of a public building with considerable project‑management skills. You will have experience of working with complex building‑management systems and a true commitment to driving environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading by example as part of our fantastic Management Team.
  • Contributing to the development/delivery of strategic areas of the business, including Health & Safety policy.
  • Undertaking regular visual inspection of the building & Garrick spaces and reviewing/prioritising key areas.
  • Overseeing periodic review/re‑tendering of maintenance contracts and being a direct point of contact between the Garrick and third‑party contractors.
  • Contributing to tender processes for larger‑scale/higher‑value maintenance projects.

Salary £32,780.80 per annum

Working pattern 40 hours per week, usually between 08:00 - 16:30, Mon - Fri, (though working times may vary due to nature of the role).
