About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Facilities Manager to join us at LWM. An exciting vital leadership role overseeing the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and compliance of our buildings and premises. You will lead a dedicated facilities team, manage hard and soft services, oversee compliance and health & safety, and drive forward budget control, planned maintenance, and income generation opportunities — all while helping shape our evolving property management service. Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing and implementing a new FM database system.
- Responsible for effective management of budgets, having a thorough understanding of all costs and income.
- Developing and delivering a facilities management service, including hard and soft services, across LWM and LDC’s premises and building.
- Lead and develop the facilities management team, including maintenance engineers, caretakers, and cleaners.
- Responsible for ensuring all premises and buildings comply with health and safety regulations.
- Responsible for ensuring each premise has an agreed programme of prioritised planned maintenance which is budgeted for and delivered.
- Responsible for ensuring accurate records and logs of compliance, works and planned maintenance are kept up-to-date for all buildings.
- Oversee both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring clear service standards are in place for responding to reactive requests.
Person Specification
- Demonstrable experience in facilities/estates management.
- Proven skills in team leadership, budget control & contract management.
- Strong working knowledge of compliance, H&S, and building systems.
- Confident using CAFM and delivering a high-quality FM service.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
