We are hiring an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor / QA Lead on behalf of a well-known Staffordshire manufacturer to join their close-knit operations team. They are looking for a proactive and hands-on professional who will play a key part in establishing and certifying our new Quality Management System (ISO 9001) with practical support and leadership in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).
This is the perfect opportunity for a qualified professional who has experience working in a high-performance manufacturing environment and is ready to take ownership of ISO 9001 implementation, internal audits, whilst helping to contribute to the development of a safe and compliant workplace.
If you have solid QA experience in a high-performance manufacturing environment and enjoy improving processes, solving problems, and driving quality culture, this is your chance to step into a role with real influence and ownership.
What you’ll be doing:- Leading the implementation and certification of ISO 9001
- Developing quality procedures, inspection plans & in-process controls
- Supporting site Health & Safety standards to ensure a safe, compliant workplace
- Running internal audits and managing non-conformances & CAPA
- Coaching quality inspectors and driving continuous improvement
- Working closely with Production, Engineering & Leadership to embed quality culture
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing quality roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead QA capacity
- Degree in Engineering/Quality or relevant field
- Proven experience in ISO 9001 implementation or certification is essential
- Experience in high-volume or precision manufacturing (plastics, electronics, or automation) is an advantage
- Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt preferred
- Skilled in CAPA, root cause analysis & quality tools
- A confident leader and communicator who is detail-driven and solutions-focused
- A key role in shaping a modern UK manufacturing facility
