Lichfield Garrick

Lichfield Garrick’s work with communities and young people has expanded significantly in the past three years. Not only have we increased our outreach to community groups and launched our major Creative Burntwood project, we have also re-launched our Youth Theatre (known as Young Garrick) now working with nearly 80 children weekly across three different age ranges. Our focus is to inspire and nurture individual creativity within the participants. There is no audition process or assessments, meaning young people are free to explore and discover their creative identity at their own pace.

The next step in expanding our Young Garrick is the new ‘Mini Garrick’ Saturday morning drama club for Key Stage 1 (ages 4-7/school years 1 & 2). We aim for this to be an introduction to creativity through drama, and an ideal preparation for progression to the Young Garrick.
