This is an exciting time for Lichfield Cathedral School, as we are expanding our current, exceptional, Nursery to include school holiday provision. We have an excellent opportunity for someone to join our friendly Junior School team and work in our new, all year-round Nursery, as an Early Years Educator.
Responsibilities- Work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure children are cared for throughout the school day, after school, and during holidays.
- Deliver an engaging programme of activities and implement the EYFS framework for children.
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Contribute to the wider aspects of school life.
- Hold an approved qualification of level 3 or above.
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience within an early years setting.
- Hold a level 2 qualification in Maths or be willing to gain this qualification within 2 years of starting the role.
The hours for this role are 5 days per week, 8:30am to 4:30pm. A degree of flexibility would be useful as the Nursery develops and grows, and there may also be flexibility in working with our ‘Schools Out’ Holiday club for Reception to Y6 children.
