School Nurse in Hassocks

LVS Hassocks is a multi-award winning specialist school for young people aged 11-19 with a diagnosis of autism.

We are looking for a newly qualified nurse (retired nurses also welcome) to be responsible for all administration and procedures relating to the medical needs of our students. The role will include recording and monitoring medical information. The School Nurse, with support and guidance from the Senior School Nurse, will ensure that all staff are appropriately trained and supported in care delivery and will also be proactive in all health initiatives. The post holder will need to be an excellent communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and be approachable and friendly.

This a term time only role. Hours 37.5 per week.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check.
