The Matawan-Aberdeen Public Library seeks an enthusiastic, tech-savvy, customer service-oriented librarian to join our friendly team. Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Reference and readers’ advisory service for Adults, Children, and Teens
- Programming
Requirements:
- MLIS from an ALA-accredited program, or degree in progress
- Interest in emerging technologies and familiarity with current trends in public library service
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work with patrons of all ages
- Flexible schedule with availability on nights and weekends
Schedule: Fill-ins as needed; possible regular hours if schedule necessitates (to be determined)
Salary: $35.18/hour ($27.18/hour for MLIS students)
