Our client based in Kings Lynn is looking for a Bookkeeper/Accountant to join their growing team. The company is an expanding accountancy firm based in King’s Lynn. They partner with business owners and private clients across Norfolk, delivering top-tier services in accountancy, audit, payroll, business development, and tax compliance. We have a fantastic opportunity for an accountant to join a growing Audit & Accounts team. In this role, you will play an integral part in supporting clients' financial health while gaining broad exposure across multiple industry sectors. Key Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper/Accountant role: * Accounts Preparation: Produce year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and Limited companies across diverse industries. * Management Accounts: Prepare accurate monthly or quarterly management accounts to help clients make informed business decisions. * Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit accurate VAT returns in line with current regulations, ensuring compliance with Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements. * Cloud Accounting: Utilize modern cloud platforms including QuickBooks and Xero. (Full training will be provided to help you become a certified advisor in both platforms). * Client Advisory: Act as a reliable point of contact, addressing client queries and delivering exceptional software and bookkeeping support. To be considered for the Bookkeeper/Accountant role you must have the following: * Practice Experience: You must have practical, hands-on experience working within an accountancy practice. * Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with cloud software is an advantage, alongside a keenness to master new platforms. * Attention to Detail: You possess an exceptional eye for accuracy and a true passion for excellence in your work. * Ambition & Drive: You are eager to learn, improve, and advance your career within a professional environment. The Bookkeeper/Accountant role is a full time, office based position. Working days are Monday to Friday.
