Senior Consultant - Developer

Purpose of Role

The successful candidate will join as a senior team member, working with project teams and directly with client stakeholders to design and deliver high-impact business solutions. This role requires a proactive, innovative developer with a track record in solution delivery who can guide both clients and junior team members in best practices and effective development strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborating closely with stakeholders to gather and analyse complex business requirements and design tailored solutions.
• Leveraging Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI, to create advanced, scalable business solutions.
• Guiding client and consultant teams to ensure solutions not only meet but exceed business requirements, delivered on time and within budget.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, including data dictionaries, process flows, and training materials for end-users and project teams.
• Assessing and improving the effectiveness of business solutions, identifying opportunities for innovation and optimisation.
• Staying at the forefront of technology trends in the development field, recommending new tools, methodologies, and best practices as appropriate.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of development experience, with proven expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Power Virtual Agent
• Experience translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business requirements.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of client organisations.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and support junior team members.
• A proactive mindset, with a passion for learning, teaching, and driving progressive change within a dynamic environment.

Other Requirements:

• The role requires flexibility for travel both in the UK and potentially abroad.
• Hybrid working arrangement with travel to client sites as required.
• Full UK Driving License with fewer than 6 penalty points, and willingness to work away during the week when needed.
