Responsibilities

  • Help develop and implement wholesale strategies
  • Driving sales growth and identifying new commercial opportunities
  • Building and maintaining strong, proactive relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • In season:
  • Coordinating and assisting seasonal sales appointments and managing order cycles
  • Overseeing day-to-day account management and responding to client needs
  • Planning and executing wholesale marketing initiatives within an allocated budget
  • Utilising brand-specific sales tools and segmentation data to inform decision-making
  • Competitor analysis
  • Set up & disassemble seasonal collections in showroom
  • Maintain merchandising standards in the showroom
  • Prepping seasonal sales materials, help sending out line sheets and marketing materials
  • Chase orders
  • Sample management during the selling season, managing, organizing, and packing samples for Paris or other appointments, including preparing all carnet information
  • Setting up new customers and ensuring all manuals have been provided to relevant teams
  • Highlight special delivery terms and ensure logistics are aware
  • Chase credit checks
  • Key contact for customers for any queries on orders regarding returns and cancellations, swaps and late orders
  • After sales:
    • Completing required data templates for each customer, whether on Customers Intranet or Excel information uploads
    • Send Flat shots and model images to clients
    • Arranging credit notes are sent out for any returns
    • Follow up and monitor returns have gone back to the warehouse
    • Dealing with customer complaints, liaising with production for answers and advice
    • Requesting sale through reports from current retailers to help understand their buys and what styles work best for each retailer, leading to reorders or actioning stock swaps returns etc.
    • Monitor customer ecom is in line with our guidelines
    • Monitor sales and markdowns
    • Monitor salesman samples and chase returns of samples if lent to customers
    • Processing and checking invoicing data analysis and weekly reporting to monitor best sellers, worst sellers and sales patterns in each territory
    • Be informed of finance and logistics status quo to support the business
    • Delivering brand training and ensuring visual merchandising consistency in key wholesale accounts
    • Help create bespoke sales training documents
    • Support the marketing team with all relevant info and details from the buy, to develop a clear wholesale strategy
    • Help manage and help implement any special customer pop-ups of SIS concepts
    • Discuss and inform of needs and local trends affecting product performance
    • Update database regularly to ensure accurate contact list is held at all times
  • Agents:
    • Review and manage orders with distributors and agents
    • Update agents and distributors with relevant seasonal information
    • Help set up and monitor agents and distributors orders and invoicing
