In 2023, Liberty launched its first luxury fragrance collection. With demand for the range now extending into new territories, Liberty is looking to add a Trade Marketing Manager to the team to continue to drive growth and uncover new opportunities.
As an ambassador and custodian for the brand, your key partnerships will be working with the Sales, Reporting, Export, Design & Production teams. An entrepreneurial and experienced Trade Marketing Manager is needed to propel growth, a top priority for the business.
- Trade Marketing Development: Partner with the head of sales to develop distribution and go to market strategies and plans globally. Work closely with distributors and sales agents to develop specific retailer plans annually.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities to inform trade marketing decisions with a focus on ROW markets. Design and execute promotional campaigns, including in-store displays, product sampling, and point-of-sale materials to drive product visibility with all key accounts. Utilise knowledge of local markets to ensure effective communications.
- Performance Tracking: Track territory/distributor/retailer forecasts to ensure sales align with targets. Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives, using metrics to assess performance and make data-driven adjustments.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key distribution and retail partners to ensure successful collaboration and product placement.
- Budget Management: Manage trade marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to all territories as needed. Collaborate with brand team on training materials. Ensure all sales brand content is up to date, accurate and accessible to partners.
- Systems Knowledge: Set up new accounts as needed, monitor orders and ensure fulfilment against distributor and retailer forecasts.
- Event Planning: Plan and oversee participation in industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to showcase our products and strengthen brand presence.
- Opportunity Identification: Identify and scope new opportunities in existing and future markets, leveraging network.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse market data and derive actionable insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Project Management: Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely execution and delivery.
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in trade marketing or a similar role within the beauty industry.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with marketing analytics tools, stock management systems a plus.
- Self-Starter: A self-starter who takes initiative in driving trade marketing projects forward.
