The Role: We are looking for a Senior Designer to design and create products for the Liberty Interior Fabrics and Wallpaper collections. This role will support the Head of Design in presentations and training of the products, grow our product ranges to enable the sale of the collection, and maintain the aesthetic of the Liberty brand. You will support communications to the Design Director and Fabrics leadership team ensuring the collection is developed per the strategic planning. Key Responsibilities: To set and manage the critical path, working with the production team in Italy. Create colourways for fabrics using the colour palettes created by the Head of Design. Communicate with suppliers to ensure designs are produced to the expected quality and specifications. Work with the production team, ensuring all information is collated accurately and fit for purpose. Administration management for marketing, internal communication, and finance. Produce designs to the required aesthetic quality and to answer market needs. Conduct appropriate, relevant, and innovative research each season, to present to the Head of Design, Design Director and sales team for direction and customer target focus to be agreed. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities An ability to create hand-painted designs Deep and thorough experience and knowledge of fabric production is essential Experience in Wallpaper and Interior Textile design AVA knowledge and expertise High level of organisation skills Ability to work in a small team Drive for excellence
