Liberty is seeking an Email Marketing Executive to own and deliver the end-to-end email channel across our iconic, multi-category business.
You will play a key role in shaping how Liberty communicates with its customers from daily BAU trading emails to campaign-led storytelling and testing-led optimisation. This is a hands‑on role with real ownership, exposure across the business, and the opportunity to develop your technical and strategic CRM skillset within a globally recognised brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Owning and managing the email calendar in line with marketing and trade priorities across all categories.
- Delivering smooth, end-to-end email production from brief to send.
- Writing clear email briefs for Copy and Design teams and ensuring objectives are met throughout the build process.
- Building and deploying campaigns in Responsys, using HTML templates and dynamic content.
- Creating and managing audiences using customer data, via both drag-and-drop tools and SQL.
- Testing and QA’ing emails to maintain a high-quality customer experience.
- Developing and executing an email testing roadmap to continuously improve performance.
- Producing weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting on email performance and sharing insights with key stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities for new campaigns, automations or content modules.
- Managing day-to-day relationships with external agencies and partners.
- Staying up to date with CRM best practice, industry trends and competitor activity.
About You
- 3 years' experience in an email or CRM marketing role.
- Hands‑on experience building and deploying emails using an ESP (Responsys experience is a strong plus).
- Working knowledge of HTML and SQL.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- Confident communicator who enjoys working cross‑functionally.
- A detail‑oriented mindset with a passion for optimisation and testing.
- Experience in retail, ecommerce or a multi‑channel environment.
