Responsibilities for this Multi Trade Operative role include:
- Repair, renew, and fit roofing trusses for traditional, hips, and valleys, as well as soffit, fascia, and barge boards.
- Repair, renew, and fit ceiling and floor joists, stairs, studding, partition walls, T and G or sheet flooring.
- Repair, renew, and fit doors, door casings, skirting, handrails, balustrades, pipe boards, and ducting panelling.
- Repair, renew, and fit kitchen units, worktops, and decorative finishes.
- Repair, replace, and fit ironmongery to doors and windows.
- Repair and renew timber and UPVC window frames.
- Reglaze timber fencing and gates.
- Perform other construction trades including patching, plastering, wall and floor tiling, and minor plumbing activities.
- Work outside of normal areas as needed within working hours.
What we are looking for in our ideal Multi Trade Operative:
- Recognised Apprenticeship and qualification (NVQ L2/L3).
- Experience as a Multi Trade Joiner/Plumber, including installation of wet rooms & disabled adaptations.
- Competency in all aspects of Joiner and/or Plumbing trades.
- Plastering skills (desirable).
- Ability to perform multiple trades.
- Housing Association experience is essential.
- Valid driving licence is essential.
- CSCS card, asbestos awareness, and own tools are required for skilled workers.
