The Liberty Brand Marketing Manager will be pivotal in building the global brand equity and commercial growth of Liberty's Interiors, Home & Crafting product categories. You'll drive the overarching brand strategy and multi-channel communications for these categories, ensuring the brand is positioned at a premium luxury level across all target markets.

Reporting into the Head of Marketing – Brand & Fabrics, you will act as a key brand guardian, translating the artistry and heritage of Liberty's prints and products into compelling, multi-channel marketing strategies. You will be instrumental in centralising the brand working group and overseeing the execution of communications plans to achieve key company objectives.

Key Duties
  • Global Brand Strategy & Planning
    • Strategy and Positioning: Set the communication strategy across all markets, positioning Interiors, Home & Crafting at the premium luxury level.
    • Launch Excellence: Own, create, and project manage a multi-channel marketing strategy and brand launch calendar for Interiors, Home & Crafting, to increase brand presence and drive sales in domestic and target international markets (e.g., USA, ME, China).
    • Concept Development: Conceptualise launches, activations, and major campaigns for the brand across Interiors, Home & Crafting categories and target customer groups.
    • Creative Oversight: Work with the Head of Marketing and the in-house Creative Production function to brief in necessary assets (photography, video, copy, campaign imagery) and oversee the execution and reporting of all brand creative output, ensuring consistency with Liberty's distinct visual identity and tone of voice.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Insight
    • Product Partnership: Maintain a close and important relationship with the Product Development and Licensing teams to support with customer research, market and competitor analysis, and to be on the front foot for all upcoming product launches across the category.
    • Data-Driven Campaigns: Utilise customer segmentation and data insights (in collaboration with central Data Analyst teams) to inform highly targeted B2C campaigns, particularly for retention and luxury customer lifecycle management.
    • Digital & E-Commerce Synergy: Collaborate with E‐Commerce leads, the centralised Marketing (Retail) team, and digital trade teams to drive digital traffic, product visibility, and conversion through relevant channels, ensuring a cohesive omni-channel storytelling approach.
    • Experiential Marketing: Partner with the Retail Marketing team and Retail Store Director on in-store events, windows, and editorial placements that elevate the Interiors, Home & Crafting narrative within the Tudor department store setting.
  • Digital Marketing & Performance
    • Multi-Channel Execution: Lead the execution of multi-channel campaigns across digital platforms, social media, PR, and traditional media.
    • Performance: Oversee the execution of paid media campaigns and utilise analysis and reporting to track ROI and optimise opportunities.
    • Brand Guardianship: With the Head of Content, ensure brand experience and storytelling across all channels is connected, relevant, and adds value.
  • Operational Management
    • Financial Management: Manage the annual budget process for Interiors, Home & Crafting.
    • Project Management: Lead a nominated working group, the 'Brand Hub', to build the brand, conceptualise, and plan all channel communications and execution.

About You

  • Experience: Proven experience (7+ years preferred) in an in‐house brand marketing role at manager level, ideally within a global high‐end interiors, home, crafting, or luxury lifestyle environment.
  • Dual Channel Awareness: Clear understanding of both B2C and B2B marketing dynamics, with experience managing and balancing complex marketing strategies.
  • Multi-Channel Expertise: Deep expertise in developing multi‐channel campaigns across digital and social media, with a strong understanding of performance marketing metrics.
  • International Experience: Comprehensive knowledge of the luxury industry and how to lead a brand across international markets, with international market experience (especially the USA) being a plus.
  • Leadership: Experience (5 years minimum) in team management or leading and inspiring cross‐functional teams and managing external agencies.
  • Skills: Excellent planning, project management, and organisational skills; a self‐driven individual with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
